This role is a project hire, slated to last approximately 12-months, with no guarantee of permanent placement.
The Compensation & Rewards Data Analyst will be responsible for Corporate Compensation’s data strategy. This role will have ownership of the Corporate Compensation data chain, and will build tools that manage data auditing, visualization, analysis, and stakeholder consumption. Additionally, this role will complete compensation projects throughout the year, including Annual Compensation Planning support and other various efficiency and effectiveness projects as they arise.
Responsibilities
- Manages flow of compensation data from Cognos BI to MS Access database to Tableau Server environment
- Builds and maintains compensation efficiency and effectiveness tools in MS Access and Tableau
- Responsible for employee data flow into annual compensation planning tool
- Manages stakeholder access and security to published Tableau Server tools
- Completes up to two major compensation projects per year outside of ACP
- Builds effective relationships with Corporate HRBP team, enterprise-wide Compensation teams, HRIS HRBI team, enterprise-wide Workforce Insights teams, and Talent Acquisition teams
- Stays abreast of any new data visualization tools and brings new learnings to the Corporate Compensation team
- Trains and assists Corporate Compensation team in data utilization and visualization

Basic Qualifications

- 2 – 4 years of experience in data analytics, data visualization, HR, or Compensation
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to balance details with a broad strategic view
- Ability to use data for storytelling to various audiences and management levels
- Basic knowledge of the following systems: MS Excel, MS Access, Cognos, SAP, and Tableau
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency with the following languages: basic SQL, VBA
Required Education
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
