IT Analyst 2

Job Description

Salary: $73,500 - $89,900

This is a full time position

Duties

Customer support- Serve as first point of contact for inquiries or needs

• Primary responsibility supporting WR helpdesk tickets 
• Provide additional helpdesk support to Wilder staff as needed
• Work with IT staff to procure appropriate WR hardware (laptops, desktops) and software
• Support mobile device needs if/when needed
• Take primary responsibility for imaging and, when needed, encryption of WR laptops

 

Network support – Maintain network infrastructure with IT Team members

• Primary responsibility for 2 WR servers (Red Hat Linux and Windows)
• Provide additional network, system, and infrastructure support as needed
• Work with Wilder IT staff to plan and optimize systems. 
• Manage WR software (order, renew maintenance) 

 

Documentation - Provide timely, accurate and complete documentation in accordance with operating procedures, regulations and standards

• Provide documentation of maintenance 
• Create and maintain documentation for training and technical reference

Operations support - Implement and maintain core service delivery operations, frameworks and processes 

• Assist with WR technology asset management
• Work with facilities staff to provide audio-visual support

 

Systems development - Develop new or modify existing systems to meet business needs

• Create work and system protocols, processes and practices as required
• System evaluation - Evaluate system specifications
• Determine effectiveness of existing and new systems as required
• Provide recommendations on best practices for utilization of technology
• Participate in assessment of new technologies for staff     

   Job Qualifications   

5 years relevant experience in Helpdesk support and LAN/WAN network experience.

• Microsoft Office support
• Windows Server support
• Redhat Enterprise Linux OS support
• MS SQL Server support 

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related filed preferred.

Comp TIA Network +, Comp TIA A+ or related certificates preferred
