Senior Data Engineer

Come join the team that is revolutionizing one of the most successful e-commerce companies in the world. As a Senior Data Engineer on the services team, you will join a group of pragmatic visionaries building core platforms for Vistaprint's continuing growth.

The systems you will work with are wide-ranging, from the merchandising engines that drive our web site to our cutting edge studio design applications. Each platform we build has a unique set of challenges that require constant learning and improvement.

To be successful, you will need:

Fluency in Java, C++, or C#
Proven ability to lead the design and implementation of high volume service oriented architectures (SOA)
Development experience with relational DBMS (SQL-based)
Strong analytical abilities and proven design skills
Strong desire to achieve in a highly innovative, fast-paced environment
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field

Other relevant experience includes:

Experience in programming languages beyond Java, C++, or C# (e.g. Ruby, Python, Javascript)
Exposure to virtualization technology (VMWare, Xen, Hypervisor)
Exposure to cloud service infrastructure and platforms (AWS)
Exposure to ecommerce systems
