Data Migration Specialist

A Virtuous Data Migration Specialist will be in charge of extracting, mapping, formatting, and importing client data from legacy systems to Virtuous. Common legacy systems include but are not limited to Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge, Salesforce, eTapestry, DonorPerfect, Donor Direct, Kindful, etc.
They must understand data structure, determine data relationships and become a Virtuous expert to properly map data into the most strategic areas within Virtuous. This role is built on an iterative scripted process using current mapping structures and collaborating on the creation of new scripts.
Exceptional time management and the ability to work with a project manager to set and meet deadlines is a necessity.
This role, though collaborative, will require a self driven individual who is extremely detail oriented and is comfortable problem solving complex data issues. Must have an aptitude for learning software.

- Ideal candidate has strong data skills (ETL, Migrations, SQL, Alteryx)
- Excel proficiency required
- Relational database experience preferred
- Scripting language experience preferred
- SQL experience preferred
- Alteryx experience preferred
- Non-profit understanding preferred
