Job Summary

Enter, maintain, track, analyze and reconcile data on organization - foundation and corporation - grants, gifts and solicitations in Griffin (system of record for alumni, prospect and giving data) in coordination with Gift Administration and Business Data and other teams within Alumni Relations and Development. Ensure data integrity. Design data presentations. Collaborate with the Campaign and Financial Analysis and Forecasting team including participating in a working group focused on organization data integrity. Reconcile grant and gift reporting, counting and data integrity, meeting with colleagues as needed.

Collaborate with colleagues to ensure that organization figures are reflected in reports. Translate organization giving data to ensure it can be appropriately presented along with individual giving data. Collaborate with colleagues and development officers around the University to accurately incorporate organization data into fundraising progress (FRP) goals. Produce management reports on a regular basis showing progress toward organization fundraising goals. Work with FCR team to ensure that organization solicitations in Griffin are entered and updated as needed. Advise team managers and directors in Alumni Relations and Development on developing unit-level metrics for organizations. Provide guidance on the use of these reports.

Understand and facilitate the coordination of grant data between University Research Administration via AURA (University's electronic research administrative system), Sponsored Award Accounting and Griffin, collaborating with Gift Administration and Business Data colleagues. Serve as ARD expert on AURA including generating reports from the AURA data warehouse. Work with University Research Administration to provide input into structure of particular streams of funding from organizations.

Assist in gift integrity management for the University Initiatives including tracking soft crediting and collaboration on solicitations. Understand key business objectives and campaign goals. Understand the context and implications of all organization solicitations in conjunction with Prospect Management colleagues. Develop and track metrics to quantify organization giving accurately and evaluate fundraising performance. Communicate progress and results to stakeholders.

Present information at meetings that demonstrates FCR's depth of knowledge and the team's contributions to University fundraising. Take the lead on special projects as needed or assigned. Maintain a local and national network of data analysts and other development professionals. Proof and edit teammates' documents. Assist FCR Organization Prospect Research Analyst with maintaining FCR website.

Education

Bachelor's degree or higher required.

Experience

A minimum of two years of professional work experience in nonprofit management, development, alumni relations, marketing, public relations, sales or similar professional work experience required.
