DESCRIPTION

StreamMosaic is a VC-funded startup in San Jose. We’re helping large semiconductor and electronics manufacturers achieve higher yields and tighter process control by implementing ML in their production pipelines. We’re seeking a QA Engineer with Data Science/Statistics background to help drive quality of an enterprise-grade, production-ready, advanced AI platform for the semiconductor and electronics manufacturing industries. RESPONSIBILITIES

Design and implement unit and integrations tests covering machine learning models with variety of data sets
Create statistical robustness tests for trained models
Create simulated dataset replicating real-world scenarios
Debug and define corrective action
Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test suites using programming languages such as Python or Java
Track quality assurance metrics
Create UI test automation suites for web based applications

REQUIREMENTS

MS in Computer Science, Engineering
Data science/Statistical analysis background required
Proven work experience in software development and quality assurance

5+ years of professional experience as Data Science QA/Software Test engineer
Communicates clearly to technical and non-technical audiences

Empathy with customer business challenges
Ability to map business problems to software and data science techniques
Understanding of Data Science/Machine Learning models
Ability to debug/troubleshoot large sets of data related issues and formats
