Role and Responsibilities:

  • System Design and Development: Design and develop Early Warning System tailored to the organization's needs and the specific risks it faces.
  • Risk Assessment: Conduct risk assessments to identify potential hazards and threats that could impact the organization. Analyze the likelihood and potential severity of these events.
  • Sensor Integration: Implement and maintain sensors, monitoring devices, and data collection systems that can detect early signs of potential risks, such as natural disasters, cybersecurity threats, or other emergencies.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze data from various sources, including sensors, weather stations, and other relevant data feeds, to detect patterns and early indicators of potential risks.
  • Alert System Implementation: Develop and implement an effective alert and notification system to disseminate warnings to relevant stakeholders in a timely manner.
  • Communication Protocols: Establish communication protocols for disseminating warnings to internal teams, emergency responders, and the broader community if necessary.
  • Training and Awareness: Provide training to relevant personnel on how to interpret and respond to early warnings. Ensure that all stakeholders are aware of the EWS procedures.

 

Skill and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as computer science, engineering, information technology, environmental science, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of hands-on work experience in a related field, such as risk management, emergency management, cybersecurity, or system engineering.
  • Experience with the development, implementation, or maintenance of early warning systems is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in programming languages and software tools relevant to the design and maintenance or early warning systems.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess risks, interpret data, and identify patterns or early indicators of potential threats.
  • Familiarity with sensor technologies, data analysis, and information systems.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • Problem-solving mindset with an ability to adapt to changing requirements.
  • Korean bilingual preferred but not required
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office application
