Senior Data Analyst

Responsibilities:

Use visualization and data analysis tools to prepare deliverables, develop/design metrics, extract meaning, and suggest courses of action for supported projects. Candidate will be working as part of an 'engine' to potentially support multiple projects across divisions (Technology/Architecture) as needed.

Primary tools used: SQL Server (SSMS), Tableau (for Visualization), Microsoft Excel, others as needed.

General:

Ability to extract meaning and suggest action items from data, not just report metrics.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics
5+ years of progressively responsible experience performing data analysis related duties utilizing SQL Server, T-SQL, reporting services, and related technologies, or an equivalent combination of qualifying education and experience
3+ years Business Intelligence
DAMA/TDWI/Microsoft certification in data management, data warehousing, and/or MS SQL preferred
Knowledge and experience in modern SQL
Knowledge and experience in the ETL process and data transformations
Programming experience required
Experience with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference
Experience using logical approaches to problem solving that involved several concrete and abstract variables
Experience with analytic techniques, statistical modeling and web analytics technologies
Able to receive/maintain secret clearance
CAC / current NCLAC, preferred.
