Job Description

Operational Skills

  • Provide functional support to the Moxie client team for Analytics, specifically Media analysis, requests
  • Keen ability to turn large sums of data from various sources into actionable insights and recommendations
  • Analyses of clients’ current direct marketing initiatives to identify key insights and opportunities.
  • Familiarity with online advertising technology, IAB standards and advertising units
  • Monitor, analyze, and report online “conversations” to provide insights for clients’ digital tactics, creative messaging and channel strategy
  • Develop hypothesis around visitor behavior and recommends media optimizations
  • Assists the media team with reporting and is the primary point person for the development of reporting against media initiatives

Project Management

  • Collaborates with Analytics team for all client requests and assists with workflow management
  • Works with BI Developers and Data Integration teams to achieve the objectives of clients data needs and/or Moxie data and reporting needs.
  • Work with the Analytics and Media teams to identify clients’ current direct marketing initiatives and translate into key insights and opportunities
  • Actively contributes to ideation of research programs and recommendations in client assignments and deliverables

Communication Skills

  • Extremely comfortable representing the team and conducting presentations in internal meetings and ultimately direct client involvement
  • Attend meetings with internal Moxie client teams to help identify relevant business issues and research objectives to address clients’ questions and needs
  • Attend most client meetings and actively participate and/or present research insights

  • Works cohesively with the team as a strong contributor, assisting peers and managers with all day-to-day client requests
  • Have excellent written and oral communications skills and have the ability to handle multiple requests simultaneously

Required Qualifications

  • 1 to 3 years experience in digital media or analytics
  • Solid qualitative and quantitative experience; Experience with indexing and benchmarking
  • Media planning experience preferred with an understanding of media analytics, placement, and buying processes
  • Knowledge of statistical packages (SAS, Qlikview, R) a plus
  • Experience with media optimization, media mix modeling, etc. a plus
  • Power user of Excel and Powerpoint
  • Fluency with syndicated online media research tools such as (Nielsen, comScore, etc.) is a plus

Career Path

Most Analysts require 1 – 2 years to acquire the skill set and be ready to take on a more senior role within the Strategic Research team. The length of time in the Analyst role will depend on the proven ability to manage client requests autonomously and effectively. After this period, Analysts typically get promoted to Senior Analysts where they are given greater responsibilities and autonomy over client/ task management
