Strategic R&D leader in utilizing advanced Data Science techniques in Product Design and Development, Process Development, Quality, Nutrition, Sensory, and Food Safety
Key stakeholder and leader of a groundbreaking team of Scientists, Engineers, and Nutritionists to define and solve complex technical challenges, and identify new opportunities to leverage Data Science
Lead a strategic team to organize, mine, and visualize complex R&D Data to deliver new insights to enable rapid, high quality Innovation across a wide variety of Food & Beverage products
Leverage a wide range of data sources and types to explore new opportunities in growth, speed to market, efficiency, and quality
Perform as a Subject Matter Expert to build, deploy, and optimize Machine Learning Models to maximize data as an asset to the R&D organization
Create Mathematical and Statistical Models from structured databases, enabling insight to solve technical problems
Leverage a deep understanding of the organization’s data infrastructure and champion infrastructure development needs to increase effectiveness of the entire R&D team
Execute rapid embedding of learnings to speed Innovation and Optimization

Requirements

BS or higher in a STEM subject
6+ years of Data Science from Data Management through Advanced Modeling
Excellent Project Management, Strategy Management, and communication skills
Application of Data Science in commercial environments, preferably consumer goods
Solid understanding in applying a range of Statistical, and Machine Learning methods to real-world problems
Advanced knowledge of programming languages such as R, Python, or JavaScript
Expertise in Applied Statistics, Mathematics, and IT connectivity
Ability to simplify complex problems and communicate to wide audience
Global experience, additional languages preferred
