Our Animal Health Marketing team takes a customer centric perspective using customer feedback and market intelligence data. Using this data, we design, develop and deploy products, platforms, brands and marketing initiatives that ensure we can improve the health and well-being of animals everywhere. 

 

Role

We are looking for a Digital Analytics Specialist to join our growing our Animal Health Digital team. The Digital Specialist will be part of a fast-growing team in an important new role. The role will have an opportunity to shape future strategies in our quest to preserve and improve the health, well-being and performance of animals and the people who care for them.

 

The successful candidate will have “hands on experience” in Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager with JavaScript (creating events & triggers). Excellent planning, organization, problem identification/resolution skills and data analysis skills are critical for success. Experience with data visualization and Google Data Studio are is desired, but not required.

 

Digital Responsibilities:

 

ANALYTICS & INSIGHTS

  • Build & deliver standardized and custom reports for business stakeholders.

  • Partner with the analytics teams on measurement across customized site experiences.

ARCHITECTURE & IMPLEMENTATION

  • Design, develop and support the web analytics instrumentation architecture - Own all Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager environment & processes.

  • Consistently evaluate and revise environment where necessary to improve stability, flexibility, scalability, and futureproofing including debugging, troubleshooting, and fixing configuration issues.

  • Develop custom analytics JavaScript to create events and triggers in Google Tag Manager.

  • Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and workarounds.

  • Ensure the integrity and accuracy of tagging environment by continually monitoring tags, both manually and with automated tools.

Qualifications:

 

Education:

  • Bachelor’s in Business, Science, Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field preferred. In lieu of degree, Associates with applicable experience

 

Skills & Abilities:

  • Experience in Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager with JavaScript (creating events & triggers) is required. Certification preferred.

  • Basic proficiency in HTML & JavaScript needed.

  • Experience in analyzing complex data sets for both planned and ad hoc analysis.
