Job Description

We are seeking a proven tactical and strategic Corporate Sales Director to lead a sales initiative among Fortune 2000 companies. The appointed Sales Director will play a key role in promoting and defining the future of this highly visible startup. The Sales Director will be responsible for all aspects of customer engagement cycle and introducing the concept of B2B wearables-driven analytics globally. This position will require an extremely motivated individual who knows how to generate revenues and demonstrate passion about the fast-evolving role of analytics. In addition, he or she must present a professional demeanor and act in a way that is supportive, optimistic, cooperative, attentive, efficient and sincere. Must demonstrate the ability to learn fast, flexibility in dealing with change and enjoy meeting challenges common to startups. 

Qualifications

What You'll Bring:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales and relationship management in corporate environment
  • Proven track record in startup sales or sales launches of new products
  • Must have articulate communication and presentation skills to all levels of the buying organization (including Chief Marketing Officer) 
  • A 4-year college degree is required, preferably with science, math, statistics or engineering background (Master's degree a plus)
  • Successful track record of progressively exceeding monthly, quarterly and annual revenue quotas 
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft applications, CRM, sales and marketing software applications, and productivity tools
  • Previous management responsibilities
  • Strong recommendations (including customers)

Responsibilities:

  • Offering "consultative / point of view" sales approach to customer
  • Reporting on sales activity directly to CEO
  • Building upon our existing sales process
  • Working closely with development team to ensure products and services meet or exceed customer requirements
  • Providing insights and recommendations to marketing team to evolve a compelling a sales proposition in events space and other verticals
  • Designing and implementing highly persuasive software demos on-line and in person
  • Coordinating and overseeing customer support and implementation
  • Serving as "guardian" of customer relationship databases, sales collateral and other internal information sources
  • Supporting image and brand of the company
  • Networking and recruiting widely to begin growth of national sales team
  • Acquiring full knowledge and technical depth of across the entire product suite
  • Superb organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience in events space a plus
