About the Role
This is not a role for those looking to do the same old analysis!
We are changing the world of construction and we need your help. We are building new data products from our unique data platform that empower people to get what they earn. They consist of structured and unstructured databases, including graph databases. We combine external large datasets (150GB anyone?) with our own internal datasets to create unique data signals that can help our customers get paid what they have earned.
Levelset’s dataset is truly unique and will offer you fantastic opportunities to grow and learn, while solving customers’ problems and truly helping people. We need a data analyst that can dive in deep, discover insights, collaborate with colleagues across the globe, and help solve real customer pain points. You shouldn’t need to feel like you have to be an expert in construction processes and payments; We can turn you into that. If you are looking for a role where you can find and deliver insights leveraging your SQL or Python skills that directly results in improving existing products or creating new products, then we want to hear from you.
What You’ll Do
- Visualize key information through dashboards and reporting to allow teams to understand and use data to power daily decision-making.
- Create product usage and engagement reports and data extracts about our users and how they engage with our products as needed
- Perform extensive data validation, cleansing, and manipulation to ensure high data quality
- Strive to understand our niche data and deliver new insights to other product analysts, data scientists, and product managers.
- Analyze data in SQL, statistical languages, and BI/Viz tools like Tableau, Looker, PowerBI, Metabase, etc.
- Proactively look for trends in data and provide actionable insights
- Ability to derive actionable insights from data and effectively guide decision-making, communicating in a comprehensible way across various levels of our organization
- Set business metrics that measure the health and growth of our data products
- Collaborate as part of a product pod
What You Bring
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as GraphQL (Cypher), SQL, and Python.
- Experience with data aggregation, basic transformations, and data manipulation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Math, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Operations Research, or other quantitative field (Masters is a plus)
- Skilled in at least one visualization tool such as Tableau, PowerBI, Looker (Certification is a plus)
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into digestible storylines and meaningful recommendations
