Assistant Vice President of Enterprise Information Management/Institutional Research and Chief Data Officer
Kennesaw State University (KSU), the third largest university in Georgia with new growth and national recognition, seeks an accomplished Assistant Vice President of Enterprise Information Management/ Institutional Research (EIM/IR) and Chief Data Officer (“AVP EIM/IR and CDO") to lead and further develop information management, planning, and analytical support of the institution. The new AVP EIM/IR and CDO will coordinate and oversee the collection, management, and reporting of all data and analytics, including the construction and maintenance of an enterprise data warehouse.
Reporting to the Vice President for Operations/Chief Information Officer/Chief Business Officer, the AVP EIM/IR and CDO will oversee a staff of 12, including a newly created Executive Director position that will serve as deputy. A proven leader in the field of enterprise information management and institutional research, the new AVP EIM/IR and CDO will provide strategic direction to the unit through staff development, clear communication and standards, and willingness to learn from and educate university partners.
The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker who possesses senior-level institutional research experience, technology savvy, and a keen understanding of higher education. S/he will be a skilled technical expert with an understanding of data warehouses, as well as an ability lead and motivate a talented group of individuals to be a highly accomplished team. Enthusiastic and passionate about information management, the next AVP EIM/IR and CDO will help build an analytical culture at Kennesaw State University.
