Position Summary

Reporting to the Executive Director of Advancement, the Data Integrity Coordinator will take a lead role in the ongoing enhancement and standardization of constituent and fundraising data collected and used by Development and University Relations (DAUR). As a member of the Advancement Services team, the incumbent will coordinate with colleagues to identify non-standard data and will take the lead to directly remediate or coordinate the remediation of these issues.

 

Essential Functions        

  • Reviews and validates gift and biographical information in an MS-Dynamics based CRM to support DAUR fundraising and constituent engagement efforts.
  • Maintains and expands an inventory of routine data checks for data standardization and completeness.
  • Assists in planning, managing, and implementing large data cleanup projects.
  • Assists in the integration and regular maintenance of data across multiple systems.
  • Coordinates the development and use of reports, dashboards, and data extracts to monitor data accuracy and improves the application of data in DAUR activities and outreach.
  • Collaborates with other colleagues and departments to complete regular data-related tasks, troubleshoots specific issues, and streamlines processes.
  • Provides additional guidance and supports for the day-to-day operations of the Advancement Services team.
  • Creates documentation of policies and processes.
  • Assists in training other Advancement Services and DAUR team members in systems use and best practices.
  • Keeps pace with technologically driven changes to create greater efficiency, enhance workflows, and creatively resolve data quality and retrieval challenges.

Required Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, information technology, or related fields.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in managing CRM systems in a higher education or nonprofit environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in CRM systems, Microsoft Office tools including Access and Excel, and basic SQL query writing.
  • General understanding of fundraising, development, and/or alumni affairs operations and best practices.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize work effectively, meet firm deadlines, and to handle the pressure of a fast-paced work environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information with appropriate discretion.
  • Successful candidates should have a knowledge of and commitment to the goals of Jesuit Education.

 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Experience in/with Ellucian CRM Advance, MS Dynamics, Anthology Encompass, data warehouses, and/or data visualization tools.
  • Extensive experience in CRM systems and the utilization of technology to create greater efficiency and creatively resolve data challenges are essential for this position, as are strong communication skills and attention to detail.

 

Minimum Starting Salary: $70,000

 

Maximum Starting Salary: $81,750

 

Note: Salary is commensurate with qualifications, experience, and skills.
