People and Recruiting Analytics Manager
The person in this role is responsible for leading the team that delivers insights to influence critical decisions on finding, recruiting, growing and retaining people. This person will lead a team of data analysts and work very closely with data engineers, software engineers and data scientists to provide deep and reliable insights on people to the leadership team and to Facebook employees.
Responsibilities
Partner closely with leaders on the People and Recruiting teams to gain a deep understanding of the insights needed
Provide thought leadership on the complete cycle of talent analytics, from sourcing and interviewing candidates to managing attrition
Manage and build a strong team of HR data analysts
Lead brainstorming discussions on the type of insights needed, lead experiments and prototypes to design the data product needed
Develop a roadmap of high impact data projects to provide insights to the HR leadership team and Facebook managers
Work closely with BI engineers and data scientists to successfully deliver data products
Partner with the People team to rollout high quality and culturally aligned people data products
Partner with internal product managers and software engineers to influence the tools roadmap for instrumentation and features needed for people data products
Requirements
BS/MS in engineering, computer science, Math, Physics, Stats or equivalent
Prior experience in HR analytics and in managing BI teams
Extensive hands on experience in telling a story with data to provide practical business insights to complex problems
Extensive experience solving analytical problems using quantitative approaches, a strong passion for empirical research and answering hard questions with data
Deep understanding of data modeling concepts
Experience with relational database and SQL, knowledge of analysis tools like R, Matlab or SAS and experience with at least one scripting language (Php, Python, Perl etc.)
Extensive experience with predictive modeling
Demonstrable leadership in the field: publications, public speaking, research
Excellent communication, team building and leadership skills
