Job Description

EverFresh Seafood Company needs a Data Analyst. Duties: Build statistical model which includes data collection, model building and model testing. Analyze the data collected using R, SAS or Python. Perform data mining using k-mean, support vector machine, k-nearest neighbors and neutral network to help in the analysis. Build a model to predict the catches in the fishing grounds, tracking the catches trend each year, as well as, checking fish ground environment status for the past decades. Interpret and explain the inspection reports from the FDA or local lab and prepared a data report for the factory to ensure the factory follows the FDA regulations. Will work from 9:00am to 6:00pm M-F. Job location: South El Monte, CA. Must have a Master’s degree in Statistics. Offered wage: $63,898 per year.
