Job Summary:

The Revenue Management and Analytics (RM&A) team supports clients across Walt Disney Parks & Resorts including Ticketing, Resorts, Merchandise and Food & Beverage in the core competencies of yield management, revenue planning, pricing, promotions and optimization. Candidates should have a natural curiosity to understand the "why" behind business performance, take a proactive role in problem-solving, be results oriented, be able to prioritize and be a team player in a collaborative environment.

This position will develop, analyze and execute both revenue management strategies and specific tactics to maximize overall profitability in the Food & Beverage (F&B), Tours & Recreation, and Events Lines of Business for Walt Disney Parks & Resorts and will report to a Pricing Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Understand and identify opportunities for revenue and profit growth, evaluate the financial impact of changes to the business, present revenue management decisions for a wide variety of venues.
  • Provide optimal utilization assumptions and yielding practices for new concepts.
  • Develop strategies, manage location seating templates (including Signature, Character, and Table service food locations), and support the development and valuation of the Long Term Plan and Annual Operating Plan (AOP).
  • Develop and maintain reporting on an ad-hoc and recurring basis, build and deliver presentations to partners and clients at various levels in the organization, monitor industry trends and competitive benchmarks, and assist with project management of key business initiatives.


Basic Qualifications:

  • Advanced knowledge and experience with Excel, Tableau, Teradata, and SAS or comparable software
  • Demonstrated strong analytical skills including product optimization and yielding
  • Proven success collaborating with a range of partners understanding multiple perspectives
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to convey data and analysis to partners at all levels
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to positively influence and lead in a team environment, generating innovative solutions to complex challenges
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, handle multiple priorities, and perform job responsibilities accurately with minimal supervision
  • Strong sense of responsibility, ownership, and pride in delivering quality results for the F&B line of business (LOB)
  • Attention to detail and an inquisitive mindset to identify and understand root causes through consolidation of multiple data sources and inputs
  • Ability to develop and maintain positive service-oriented relationships with partners and clients.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years in a role with data analysis experience
  • Pricing and/or revenue management experience
  • Advanced modeling skills
  • Retail experience
  • Leadership experience in a pricing or retail environment
  • Demonstrated exceptional leadership skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Disney Theme Park & Resorts operations, business units, and product offerings and data sources
  • Familiarity with the Disney F&B LOB and its unique F&B products including dining plans
  • Familiarity with Disney Food and Beverage Source Systems (Matra POS, F&B Data Warehouse)


Required Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree


Preferred Education:

  • Master's degree in finance, industrial engineering, economics, statistics or related quantitative field
