Job Description

The Revenue Management and Analytics (RM&A) team supports clients across The Walt Disney Company, including Walt Disney Parks & Resorts (WDP&R), Disney Cruise Line, Media Networks (i.e. ABC, ESPN), Studio Entertainment and Disney Interactive Media in the core competencies of yield management, revenue planning, forecasting, pricing and optimization. Key partners to the RM&A organization include Marketing, Finance, Business Development, Research and Operations. Roles within RM&A develop, analyze, and execute strategies to maximize profitability and improve the value proposition for our Guests, Cast Members and Shareholders.

Your Role:

  • Support the Theme Park and Resorts Pricing Strategy teams in developing, analyzing, and executing strategic pricing strategies to maximize segment profitability by designing and maintaining predictive models and creating strategic analyses to:
  • Proactively identify and deliver best practices across global parks and resorts sites in order to drive incremental revenue and enhance the Guest experience
  • Provide strategic, analytical, and logistical insights to on-going business challenges or new business opportunities across the segment
  • Support day-to-day responsibility of key pricing, product, and revenue optimization decisions for product and projects related to the Walt Disney World Annual Pass Program

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven proficiency in MS Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated experience working with complex and large volumes of data and database applications
  • Advanced analytical, problem solving and decision making skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to shift readily between technical and non-technical terminology depending on audience
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, handle multiple priorities and perform job responsibilities accurately with minimal supervision
  • Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a team environment with a positive demeanor
  • Demonstrated strong partnering skills and willingness to share creative and new ideas
  • Strong sense of responsibility, ownership and pride in delivering quality results and understanding the business impact
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Industrial Engineering or other quantitative field or equivalent

How To Stand Out:

  • Minimum two to three years analysis and/or strategy development experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge of SQL, Tableau, SAS, Business Objects, as well as a willingness to learn new software
  • Demonstrated knowledge of WDP&R hotels and theme parks
  • Demonstrated knowledge of fundamental pricing strategies and tactics
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the Revenue Management and Analytics organization
  • Master's degree or equivalent
