Job Description

The Revenue Management and Analytics (RM&A) team supports clients across Walt Disney Parks & Resorts including Ticketing, Resorts, Merchandise and Food & Beverage in the core competencies of yield management, revenue planning, forecasting, pricing, promotions and optimization.

Candidates should have a natural curiosity to understand the "why" behind business performance, take a proactive role in problem-solving, be results oriented, be able to prioritize and be a team player in a collaborative environment.

This role will be responsible for developing monthly forecasts and data-driven insights for WDW Food & Beverage revenue.

Your Role: Analytics and Measurement

  • Create Walt Disney World Food & Beverage revenue long-term monthly forecasts and annual operating plan
  • Develop deep understanding of Guest demographics, behavior, purchasing and redemption patterns to deliver insights and make improvements in predictive forecasting models
  • Utilize latest data visualization techniques to identify, evaluate, and communicate business trends and key metrics
  • Analyze large data sets by leveraging SAS, SQL, Tableau, and Business Objects
  • Insights and Strategic Decision Making
  • Translate business performance drivers and metrics into insightful analyses and recommendations
  • Partner with stakeholders at all levels and across various functional teams such as Food & Beverage, Finance, Pricing, Financial Accounting, etc., to influence decision-making
  • Understand and evaluate new business initiatives to provide strategic direction for the business

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Industrial Engineering or other quantitative field
  • Minimum five years of analysis and/or strategy development experience
  • Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to develop and articulate actionable, fact-based insights and recommendations
  • Demonstrated strong analytical skills in financial forecasting and statistical analysis
  • Demonstrated technical ability to leverage data using spreadsheets, databases, visualization software, and statistical package such as SAS
  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment with a positive demeanor under tight timelines
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, handle multiple priorities, and perform job responsibilities accurately with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrated strong sense of responsibility, ownership, and pride in delivering quality results and understanding the business impact

How To Stand Out:

  • Master's Degree or equivalent
  • Experience with Walt Disney Parks & Resorts forecasting and planning processes
  • Demonstrated experience working with SAS, Teradata, SQL, Tableau, and Business Objects
