Job Description

The Revenue Management and Analytics (RM&A) team supports clients across The Walt Disney Company, including Walt Disney Parks & Resorts (WDP&R), Disney Cruise Line, Media Networks (i.e. ABC, ESPN), Studio Entertainment and Disney Interactive Media in the core competencies of yield management, revenue planning, forecasting, pricing and optimization. Key partners to the RM&A organization include Marketing, Finance, Business Development, Research and Operations. Roles within RM&A develop, analyze, and execute strategies to maximize profitability and improve the value proposition for our Guests, Cast Members and Shareholders.

Your Role:

  • Execute strategies - Support the Theme Park & Resorts Pricing team in developing, analyzing, and executing promotional pricing strategies to maximize profitability.
  • Model and analyze - Design and maintain predictive models and create detailed analyses to evaluate the success of initiatives and identify areas of improvement.
  • Partner - Identify insights from reporting and work with key partners to communicate performance, understand new initiatives and support strategic opportunities.


What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Industrial Engineering or other quantitative field or equivalent
  • Proven proficiency in MS Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated experience in working with complex and large volumes of data, and database applications
  • Advanced analytical, problem solving and decision making skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to shift readily between technical and non-technical terminology depending on audience
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, handle multiple priorities, and perform job responsibilities accurately with minimal supervision
  • Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a team environment with a positive demeanor
  • Partnering skills and willingness to share creative and new ideas
  • Strong sense of responsibility, ownership, and pride in delivering quality results and understanding the business impact


How To Stand Out:

  • Master’s degree or equivalent
  • Two to three years analysis and/or strategy development experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge of SQL, Tableau, SAS, Business Objects as well as a willingness to learn new software
  • Demonstrated knowledge of WDP&R hotels and theme parks
  • Demonstrated knowledge of fundamental pricing strategies and tactics
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the Revenue Management and Analytics organization
