The Revenue Management and Analytics (RM&A) team supports clients across Walt Disney Parks & Resorts including Ticketing, Resorts, Merchandise and Food & Beverage in the core competencies of yield management, revenue planning, forecasting, pricing, promotions and optimization. Candidates should have a natural curiosity to understand the "why" behind business performance, take a proactive role in problem-solving, be results oriented, be able to prioritize and be a team player in a collaborative environment.

This role will be responsible for leading a team to deliver monthly forecasts and data-driven insights for Room Nights and Room Revenue. This position will help the organization understand current business and support future growth. Responsibilities will include delivering guest driven analytics, data mining/visualization, partnering with key business leaders, and leading/developing cast members.

Your Role:

Analytics and Measurement

  • Manage the short and long term forecasts and AOP process for Walt Disney World bookings, room nights, population, and arrivals
  • Develop deep understanding of guest booking patterns and behaviors to deliver insights
  • Maintain and improve predictive forecasting models
  • Utilize data visualization techniques to identify and communicate business trends
  • Analyze large data sets by leveraging SQL, SAS, and Business Objects

Insights and Strategic Decision Making

  • Translate business performance drivers and metrics into insightful analysis and recommendations
  • Partner with multiple stakeholders such as Pricing, Yield Management, Finance, Marketing, etc., to influence business decisions
  • Lead efforts to transition to new forecasting methods that deliver more actionable insights into the business

What We’re Looking For:

  • Minimum five years analysis and/or strategy development experience
  • Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to develop and articulate actionable, fact-based insights and recommendations. Deliver this by telling a simple and compelling story to varying audiences to guide decision making
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage data software including spreadsheets and databases
  • Experience with SAS
  • Ability to work in a team environment with a positive demeanor
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, handle multiple priorities, and perform job responsibilities accurately with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrated strong sense of responsibility, ownership, and pride in delivering quality results and understanding business impacts
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Industrial Engineering or other quantitative field

How To Stand Out:

  • Six plus years analysis and/or strategic development experience
  • Experience with Walt Disney Parks & Resorts forecasting and planning processes
  • Demonstrated experience working with SAS, Teradata SQL, Tableau, and Business Objects
  • Master’s degree or equivalent
