Job Description

The Revenue Management and Analytics (RM&A) team supports clients across all corporate segments, including Walt Disney Parks & Resorts. Teams support Parks & Resorts lines of business including Admissions, Lodging, Merchandise and Food & Beverage (F&B) in the core competencies of pricing, yield management, revenue planning, forecasting, promotions, and optimization. Candidates should have a natural curiosity to understand the "why" behind business performance, take a proactive role in problem-solving, be results oriented, be able to prioritize and be a team player in a collaborative environment.

This position will develop and analyze pricing and revenue management strategies to maximize overall profitability in the Food & Beverage, Merchandise, Tours & Recreation, and Events lines of business for Walt Disney Parks & Resorts. A successful Pricing Analyst will have a natural curiosity on the key drivers of the business, continuously and expeditiously improving the Disney value proposition for our Guests, Cast, and Shareholders through comprehensive business insight and collaborative partnerships that deliver innovative and optimal analytical solutions. This position will also work with key partners including Operations, Finance, Line of Business, Commercial Strategy, Communications/Public Affairs, and internal RM&A partners to execute and measure implemented tactics.

This position will report to the Manager-Pricing.

Responsibilities

  • Identify revenue and profit growth opportunities, evaluate the financial impact of changes to the business, present pricing decisions for a wide variety of venues.
  • Provide revenue assumptions and projections for new concepts.
  • Develop strategies, implement price changes (including Signature, Character, Table and Quick Service/Outdoor food locations), support the development and valuation of the Long Term Plan and Annual Operating Plan (AOP) ), as well as support evolving measurement methodologies.
  • Develop and maintain reporting on an ad-hoc and recurring basis, build and deliver presentations to partners and clients at various levels in the organization, monitor industry trends and competitive benchmarks, and assist with project management of key business initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain positive service-oriented relationships with partners and clients.

Basic Qualifications

  • Proven success collaborating with a range of partners understanding multiple perspectives
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to convey data and analysis to partners at all levels
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, handle multiple priorities, and perform job responsibilities accurately with minimal supervision
  • Exceptional sense of responsibility, ownership, and pride in delivering quality results for the Food & Beverage line of business
  • Exceptional attention to detail, data accuracy and an inquisitiveness to determine explanations, with an ability to consolidate multiple sources of information/analyses into a cohesive story/recommendation
  • Ability to work in a team environment with a positive demeanor, generating innovative solutions to complex challenges
  • Demonstrated solid analytical skills
  • Advanced knowledge and skills in Microsoft Excel

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated exceptional leadership skills
  • 2+ years’ experience in a role with data analysis
  • Pricing and/or revenue management experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Walt Disney Parks & Resorts operations, business units, and product offerings
  • Familiarity with the Disney F&B line of business and its unique F&B products including dining plans

Required Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Industrial Engineering, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics or related field

Preferred Education

Master's degree in Business, Finance, Industrial Engineering, Economics, Statistics or related quantitative field
