~~The Walt Disney Parks & Resorts Management Science & Integration (MSI) consulting team is responsible for supporting clients across The Walt Disney Company including Parks and Resorts, Media Networks (e.g., ABC, ESPN, etc.), Studio Entertainment (The Walt Disney Studios, Disney Theatrical) and Disney Consumer Products and Interactive Media. MSI leverages technology, data analytics, optimization, statistical and econometric modeling to explore opportunities, shape business decisions and drive business value. MSI seeks forward-thinking team members who are passionate about delivering quality results and enjoy working closely with key partners on both strategic and tactical challenges. Candidates should have a natural curiosity to understand the "why" behind business performance, take a proactive role in problem-solving, be results oriented, be able to prioritize and be a team player in a collaborative environment.

Your Role:

Exercise leadership – Guide a team of analytical professionals through analysis, modeling, and project management for key Disney media client deliverables
Consult with executives - Set priorities, hit deadlines, shape the deliverables and communicate science into results that can be understood and acted upon
Collaborate with key partners - Act as liaison for the Revenue Management team with highly technical teams such as Decision Science, Technology and external vendors/consultants

Position for success - Participate in high-value opportunity projects, as needed

What We’re Looking For:

  • Seven plus years of experience in advanced analytics or consulting role
  • Proven leadership experience
  • Exhibited ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence decision makers
  • Experience translating complex problems and solutions to all levels of an organization
  • Ability to organize work and thrive in an operational and ad-hoc analysis role
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adjust to rapidly changing business environment
  • Proficiency in presentation software (PowerPoint, Tableau, etc.)
  • Strong written, verbal communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Bachelor’s degree with specialization in Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics or other quantitative field or equivalent

How To Stand Out:

  • Previous experience with web applications or programming languages (e.g., CSS, Javascript, HTML)
  • Experience with statistics, industrial engineering, marketing and sales, pricing, or revenue management analytics
  • Master’s or PhD with specialization in Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics or other quantitative field or equivalent
