Job Duties and Responsibilities:

The Acquisition Strategy team is seeking a Product Management Analyst to provide analytical support for the Product Management department, reporting to the Senior Manager of Acquisition Strategy.  Daily responsibilities include data mining, sales tracking, financial analysis, and product forecasting, and through these efforts you will contribute direct influence to decisions for DISH acquisition promotions, pricing and new product launches.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Monitor weekly sales performance and create reporting dashboards for executive use
  • Analyze subscriber base trends, package mix, and correlating products & services and use data to forecast sales for new products & services
  • Track historical and current promotion and product performance and manage metrics tracking for all launched promotions
  • Draw conclusions from data trends & correlations to identify opportunities for business growth
  • Support Product Management team analytics needs, including, but not limited to, analysis of mobile product performance, product adoption rates and broadband sales

Skills - Experience and Requirements:

A successful Product Management Analyst will have the following:

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or two years related experience and/or training; and four plus years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience; Masters degree in relevant field strongly preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in data analysis or similar field
  • Proficient with SQL, XML, MS Access, Excel, Word and PowerPoint; Tableau experience preferred
  • Experience in data mining and adept at queries; able to analyze and comprehend large data sets
  • Strong quantitative skills, attention to detail, critical thinking, creative problem and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Understanding of financial concepts, margin analysis, and forecasting along with ability to present complex information in a broadly understandable manner
