We are seeking candidates for the position of Ad Sales Reporting & Analytics Senior Manager to be located in our New York City office.

 

Position Summary:

The Ad Sales Reporting & Analytics Senior Manager will provide business insights to Linear TV Ad Sales by building and maintaining business value-driven Excel models and building and maintaining visual dashboards in data visualization tools. *This is a very Tableau focused position. Expertise in Tableau is required.*


Responsibilities:

  1. Responsible for reporting and analytics across all Ad Sales functions including Sales, Pricing and Planning, Inventory Management, Commercial Operations and Ad Sales finance
  2. Responsible for developing sophisticated analytics to maximize revenue for the Ad Sales function
  3. Responsible for defining sales and inventory reporting dashboards and reports that will uncover trends and will help formulate recommendations for revenue maximization
  4. Responsible for defining data models and structures to enable key performance indicators (KPIs) and standardized reporting across Ad Sales functions
  5. Responsible for ensuring that all reporting meets the highest levels of data integrity

 

Job Requirements

  • 5-7 years experience developing sophisticated Excel models and reports for business consumption
  • 3-5 years experience building dashboards in data visualization tool (preferably Tableau)
  • Significant experience translating business needs into actionable reports and analytics
  • Experience in pricing and inventory optimization techniques in an industry relevant to TV Ad Sales (e.g., airline industry)
  • Experience liaising both with the business and with technical groups
  • Experience developing reporting requirements for technical development
  • 3+ years experience as a data scientist preferred
  • 3+ years experience in developing predictive data models using statistical and mathematical methods preferred
  • 3+ years experience working with statistical software (e.g., SAS, R, S-Plus) preferred
  • 3+ years in the media industry (preferably television) preferred
  • Must have legal right to work in the United States
