Job Description

We are looking for a full-time Data engineer who can develop analytics, collection infrastructure, data warehousing and processing applications for a distributed server application.

This position is located at our Denver studio. Must be willing to relocate.

Responsibilities

Build server applications in a Linux environment using Scala
Build robust fault-tolerant scalable server software
Work with analysts to collect data and build robust reporting
Integrate and optimize database communications

Qualifications

Minimum of three (3) years as a Software Engineer in an applicable industry
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with teammates is essential
Experience developing highly scalable server applications
Experience with Java, Linux, Scala, and SQL
Ability to work accurately under tight deadlines
Ability to learn new skills and languages quickly
Ability to mentor other engineers
A passion for gaming

Pluses

Game industry experience
Knowledge of Hadoop
Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, MSSQL
Experience with Tableau, Kontagent, or Flurry
