Constant Contact is looking for an experienced, creative, hands-on Business Intelligence Application Engineer to join our growing Information Systems team. The successful candidate will be a key contributor helping to make our analytic vision a reality. Working with our business partners, you will ensure that our business intelligence solutions deliver significant business value while supporting key strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities:

Understanding stakeholder business needs, gathering requirements, designing, and building best-in-class solutions that leverage advanced analytics architecture.
Providing input into the ongoing design, development, and deployment of our business intelligence and analytical solutions.
Performing quality assurance testing and ensuring our solutions deliver business value to stakeholders
Facilitating User Acceptance Testing

Requirements:

5+ years experience designing and developing business intelligence solutions. Proven experience developing roadmaps, design specifications and development plans.
Proven experience using leading business intelligence tools, such as Cognos, Business Objects, and MicroStrategy to deliver solutions that stakeholders find engaging. Experience with Cognos 10 a plus.
Ability to translate business needs into viable solutions and provide input into our information architecture.
Ability to communicate and work effectively throughout all levels of the organization. Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
Accountable, with a problem-solving mindset, highly self-motivated and self-directed.
Experience with leading data warehousing technologies, such as Netezza, Greenplum, Vertica and Teradata.
Strong data modeling, data analysis and architecture skills.
Strong analytical skills and SQL expertise.
Proven experience working in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.

Optional Skills:

Knowledge of Big Data technologies, such as Hadoop, Cassandra, and Hive.
Experience with IBM Information Server.
Expertise with leading data integration tools, such as IBM DataStage, CastIron, and Boomi, or any ELT techniques.
Experience in Salesforce.com and other CRM solutions.
Experience in CASE tools such as ERwin, ORACLE Designer 2000, and ER/Studio.
Previous experience with Agile and SCRUM
