Business Intelligence Analyst

At COUNTRY Financial, our Business Intelligence Analyst drives business decisions by providing quantitative and qualitative data analysis and reporting of patterns, insights, and trends to decision-makers. Collects, aggregates, and analyzes data from multiple internal and external sources to drive insights into business performance. Produces actionable reports that show key performance indicators, identify areas of improvement into current operations, and display root cause analysis of problems. Uses analytics and metrics to improve processes and provide data-driven forecasts of potential costs, risks, and profits of new business initiatives. Communicates findings and insight to stakeholders and provide business strategy recommendations for optimizing business performance. Provides reporting solutions and respond to ad-hoc report requests across multiple business areas. May participate in the design and development of business intelligence reporting tools. May provide consultation to users and lead cross-functional teams to address business issues.
Responsibilities:
- Data collection, control plan and other tool support
- Data analytics
- Liaison with Enterprise Data Warehouse team
- Mining of insight from disparate data sets
Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of analytics experience, OR
- At least 7 years of analytics experience
Additional Requirements:
- Proven skills in visual analytics and problem solving
- Abilities to derive prescriptive insight and drive business decisions
- Experience with one or more of the following is strongly preferred: Tableau, SAS, Informatica, Actuate
